Islam El-Sharqawy
Islam El-Sharqawy is an Egyptian contemporary sculptor and artist known for his works that combine elements of traditional culture with modern influences. The course is an introduction to sculpture beginning with the simplest techniques starting with a simple clay figures e.g. a portrait supported by paper. It aims at giving an insight into the world of sculpture and experiencing the meditative aspect of creating art and manipulating different materials.
